I worked with Fred Baker Jr. when he was the Creative Director at Giant Records in the 90’s. Now he works for Comcast. Lately I have been doing some web banners for him. Nothing too fancy, but effective.

I have been doing several banner ads for the web the last few days. I guess this is the way everything is moving. This one is for World Vision. They used to work with Gospel Artist now they have moved towards working with Country Artist also. Good for Wynonna Judd!!

posters for World Vision and Microsoft

posters for World Vision and Microsoft

I always try not to be a name dropper, but in the interest of self-promotion for my business, sometimes I can’t resist. Such is the case here with Microsoft. Through my connections at World Vision, I ended up with a small project from Microsoft. Which I think is pretty cool for a small time guy like me from Music City USA. Thanks to Heidi Marsh and Laurie Humphreys at World Vision. And thanks to Lorrin Maughan at Microsoft. Also I must admit I only took existing art elements and rearranged them for the poster. I think Michael Martinez was the designer who originally did all the art.

fun logo design

fun logo design

Sometimes I like to do logos that are just fun. This is one of them. I don’t have a lot of details about this event but it might have something to do with Cumberland Yacht harbor. That was a wonderful project that I worked on a few years ago for Jim Varallo. It was going to be a phenomenal marina on Mill Creek not far from Downtown Nashville. Supposedly the project was killed because of an endangered crayfish in the creek. I’m no expert but I think this is government in action at its very worse. Maybe even borderline criminal. Oh well, live to fight another day I guess.

Faith Hill is probably my most famous client. This is an image for the upcoming season opening of Sunday Night Football. I believe this is her 3rd year to do it. She looks as good now as she ever has!

Website Design

Website Design

TenderCare Beds is a company operated by Greg Verlander. I designed their logo, business cards and letterhead, tri-fold brochure and a basic look for a web page design. I don’t do it often, but I can design websites. This is a great idea and I hope it takes off for them.

art for a Constant Contact eblast

I worked on this eblast for Fairvue Plantation, in Gallatin, TN with Joe Godfrey and Carolyn Aldridge. Constant Contact seems to be a very effective way to do email announcements if you know the people on your mailing list.

What a Wonderful Record

What a Wonderful Record

A friend of mine by the name of Jeff Penick called and said Marla was looking for someone to design her record who wouldn’t charge her a fortune. Since all our kids go to Goodpasture together I thought I would do her a favor and do the job for less than normal.  The favor was hers to me though.  She gave me a copy of the record and I can’t stop listening to it. Marla is the daughter of legendary Music Veteran, Buddy Cannon, who produced this record.  This is one you should try to track down if you like good country music.  Thanks again Jeff!
